ICYMI | Because I Said I Would

Happy Labor Day, I hope you’ve had an amazing weekend!  Today as you are able relax and enjoy the fruits of your hard work, take 5 for an ICMYI Monday!

Have you ever made a commitment that you couldn’t keep?  Have you ever said yes to something that you know you didn’t have time for?  One of my best friends tells me often that my ability to say no is broke!  My intentions are always good, but there is only so much time in a day.  Often times our experiences with one another cause us to formulate ideas about God.  We expect Him to fall short of keeping His word because many others haven’t kept theirs.

Contraire mon frère!  If God ever had a byline it would be “Because I Said I Would!”

Last Sunday a beautiful young lady Michele, who had been attending TKC for a couple of weeks, walked in and her shirt immediately caught my attention.  Her clothing was preaching a message!

I want to remind you today that if God said it, He WILL!

Many of you are believing for miracles.  Maybe the salvation of someone close to you, the deliverance of a family member, the healing of your body, the restoration of a relationship.  God is not just the author of your faith, but the FINISHER!  He has never broken His word, and He is NOT going to start with you.

I stand with you today! Encourage your faith that His promises are yes and amen!  On the soundtrack of your life, queue up some Journey and Don’t Stop Believin!
