ICYMI | Take The Lid Off

Just recently, I had the opportunity to teach from my heart during our midweek Bible Study.  I relish these opportunities so much, because they are nights where we embrace topics of practical Christian living.  To me, these are the best and so needed in the body of Christ.

I would rival no one is more open to the practical ways of living than myself!

Often times, when I share, it is more out of my personal study and devotion, what God is saying to me personally!  I hear Him clearest when I am walking in my purpose, as a wife, a mother, maybe in carpool or while I am folding 100 pounds of laundry.  Glamorous huh?  Seriously un-sexy and that’s why it lasts to me.  It isn’t complicated by overwhelming revelation that wows me, just the kind that keeps me.  Steady.

The series that we have been in this month has been so good!  Take the Lid Off.  In this session I share about the importance of creating capacity for God.  It is impossible to be poured into, until you have been poured out.  The 3 ways I cover here are Ministry to God, Ministry to Others, and Ministry to Yourself.  I really believe we do the middle one so well, but often times we forget than an omnipotent, omnipresent God desires our ministry.  I absolutely believe that in some realms of Christianity, we have taught dying to self to an unfortunate degree.  If you get a chance, you should go check out the rest of these teachings – they will definitely challenge and help you set the pace for your year.  I will be sharing a couple of the ones I taught here on the blog…i hope they bless your life!

    Xoxo,

    Steph
