UMFAST Day #7

Hey sis…today marks one week on our 30 day UMFAST!  It’s been so good already…let’s press in for less of us and more of Him! 

James 1:16-18 MSG “So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures.”

Whew!  Did you read that?  Go back and read it again.  Don’t get thrown off course. Everything good comes from heaven.  God is good and there is nothing in Him that isn’t.  And here’s the part you need to read over…He brought us to life with His word and YOU are the crown of His creation! Yes YOU!  So walk throughout this 7th day knowing you are His and He loves to show you off! 

Consecration: Distraction

Today we are consecrating ANY distraction that would throw you off course.  Off course from what?  Anything that attempts to distract you from walking in alignment with knowing that God is GOOD and YOU are His prize creation.  Period!  You may have to consecrate social media today.  You may have to consecrate your tongue today.  You may even have to consecrate some relationships today.  Whatever the Holy Spirit is shining light on, let Him have it. YOU are His favorite!
