    Aunt Cisa’s White Chicken Chili

Happy Saturday everyone!  I’m not sure where each of you are geographically located, but in Kentucky it’s the perfect day to spend inside with family and friends!  I have one of my most favorite recipes for you today…Aunt Cisa’s White Chicken Chili 🙂  First, let me tell you who Aunt Cisa is.  It’s actually my sister, Lisa Brunson.  She was given the name Aunt Cisa by Collin when he was just a toddler and couldn’t yet say his L’s…and guess what?  It stuck.  Funny enough, her contact name in my phone is Aunt Cis.  Such adorable memories!

This soup will make you want an IV.  No joke!  It’s so delicious and settles light on the stomach.  Enjoy!

    Ingredients #1

    1 onion

    1 tbsp Chili Powder

    1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 drop of Oregano oil (or 1 tsp Oregano spice)

    1 tsp Cumin

    1 tsp Pepper

1 Roasted Chicken Shredded or 2 12.5 oz cans of Chicken Breast

    Ingredients #2

2- 4 oz cans of Green Chiles

2- 15.5 oz cans of Great Northern Beans

    6 cups of Chicken Broth

    1 cup of heavy cream

    1 cup of sour cream

    Directions

Saute Ingredients #1 in 2 tbsp of oil or butter.  Add in shredded Chicken and Ingredients #2.   Simmer on medium heat until all spices blend well.  Make sure that your temperature doesn’t get too hot or your sour cream and heavy cream will curdle!

    Garnish It Girl!

Serve with shredded mexican cheese blend and a dollop of sour cream!
